On February 28, 2024, Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) provided financial support of 100 million kips towards the launch of Visit Laos Year and Savan Fun Fest Festival 2024 in Savannakhet Province. This contribution was presented at the Savannakhet Provincial Government Administration Office and graciously accepted by Mr. Bounchom Ubonpaseuthe, the Governor of Savannakhet Province, on behalf of the company by Mrs. Ladsany Sisane, Superintendent- Savannakhet Office and government relation. 

Mr. Bounchom Ubonpaseuthe, the Governor of Savannakhet Province, expressed his gratitude to LXML for their generous support and confirmed that the funds will be used to enhance the town of Kaysone Phomvihane through the decoration of lights, signs, and other beautification projects. Additionally, the funds will be utilized to improve various tourist attractions in Savannakhet, including the Mekong riverbank in Savannakhet city and traditional stupas, to attract more visitors to the region.

In addition to the support for Visit Laos Year 2024 and the Savan Fun Fest Festival, LXML also provided financial assistance to the Savannakhet Businesswomen’s Association, donating 30 million kips. The funds, received by Mrs. Saisamon Inthichak, President of the Savannakhet Businesswomen’s Association, will be used to organize the festival in alignment with Visit Lao Year 2024. The festival is scheduled to take place in the old town of Kaysone Phomvihane from March 10-17, 2024. The total amount of support provided by LXML for both events amount to 130,000,000 kips, which is approximately equivalent to 6,237.27 US dollars.

LXML is committed to supporting the local community and promoting tourism in Savannakhet Province and looks forward to a successful Visit Laos Year 2024 and Savan Fun Fest Festival.
