Trainer - Processing

Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. Reporting to the Lead Trainer – Processing, the Trainer - Processing is responsible for delivering operational and technical training programs for the Processing Department and contractors. The role supports competency development through area inductions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) training, refresher programs, and Verification of Competency (VoC) assessments in accordance with the training matrix and competency framework.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver mineral processing training, including inductions and refresher programs.
• Deliver SOP training to operators as required.
• Support the development and improvement of training packages, SOPs and materials.
• Conduct and support competency assessments, including Verification of Competency (VoC).
• Provide training and competency support to processing departments.
• Ensure Training attendance and assessment records are recorded in the training system.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor or advanced diploma in mineral processing, laboratory, mining or other related fields.
• Previous experience in the mining industry, specifically in processing operations is ideal.
• Previous experiece as an operational/technical trainer will be an advantage.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse work groups.
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with good written and spoken English.
• Valid Lao Class B driving licence.
