Supervisor - Shutdown

Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation,
located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos

Reporting to the Coordinator - Shutdown, the Supervisor – Shutdown is responsible for the safe and
efficient execution of planned shutdown maintenance activities across the Sepon processing plant and
supporting infrastructure, supervising work crews and contractors to ensure all tasks are completed on
schedule, within scope, and in compliance with safety and technical standards to maintain plant reliability.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Demonstrate strong safety leadership and ensure all work complies with site SSHE standards.
• Conduct pre-start meetings and task-based risk assessments.
• Identify and manage critical risks including lifting operations, confined space entry, working at heights
and isolations.
• Ensure all personnel comply with permit to work and isolation procedures.
• Supervise shutdown work teams during execution of planned major maintenance events.
• Ensure shutdown work scopes are executed in accordance with approved work packs, drawings,
procedures and OEM specifications.
• Deliver shutdown work safely, efficiently and within the approved schedule.
• Coordinate daily shutdown activities with planners, operations and contractors.
• Supervise contractors and ensure they comply with site safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Monitor contractor productivity and adherence to shutdown schedules.
• Ensure contractor work is completed according to scope and specifications.

Qualifications , Experience, and Skills:
• Certified in Mechanical, Electrical or relevant Trade Qualification.
• Proven experience supervising maintenance and shutdown operations while effectively managing
contractors and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Good leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate in Lao and English preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple maintenance activities simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively under time pressure during shutdown events.
