Supervisor – Community Development

Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. Reporting to the Superintendent – Community Development & Engagement, the Supervisor - Community Development leads the delivery of community development programs, oversees team performance, and builds strong stakeholder relationships to support LXML’s operations and community objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and supervise community development programs to achieve annual objectives and budgets.
• Develop, implement, and monitor community development and engagement plans.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities and government stakeholders.
• Manage, coach, and develop the Community Development team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, and reporting requirements to ensure effective delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, governance requirements, and relevant regulations.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Development or a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in community development, stakeholder engagement, or a related field, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of local culture and government processes.
• Strong leadership, project management, communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.
• Fluent in Lao and English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
• Good at Microsoft Office and hold a valid Class B Lao driver’s licence.
