Senior Resource Modelling Geologist

In support of this growth, we are looking for a Senior Resource Modelling Geologist join our team to deliver on our growth plans and be a part of this exciting future.

Reporting directly to the VGM - Southern Exploration Area, the Senior Resource Modelling Geologist is responsible for leading geological modelling and Mineral Resource Estimation (MRE) work during the Pre-Feasibility (PFS) and Feasibility Study (FS) stages. The position plays a key role in delivering reliable resource models to support mine planning, metallurgical performance and project evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead geological modelling and Mineral Resource Estimation for the SND project during PFS and FS stages
• Develop and maintain robust resource models reflecting geological continuity and grade distribution
• Support resource classification and confidence improvement through drilling strategy and data interpretation
• Conduct geostatistical analysis and contribute to uncertainty assessment to support mine planning
• Work closely with metallurgy, geotechnical and mining teams to ensure integration of models across disciplines
• Provide block models for reserve estimation and Life-of-Mine (LoM) planning
• Contribute to technical studies, reports and documentation for PFS/FS deliverables
• Support preparation of Mineral Resource reports in accordance with JORC / NI 43-101 standards
• Assist in technical reviews, audits and peer reviews as required
• Ensure data quality, validation and compliance with company standards

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology (Master’s degree or higher is preferred)
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in the mining industry, with strong exposure to resource modelling
• Proven experience in Pre-Feasibility and/or Feasibility Studies is required
• Experience with porphyry Au-Cu deposits will be highly regarded
• Proficiency in geological modelling and mining software such as Leapfrog, Datamine, Vulcan or Micromine
• Familiarity with geostatistical tools such as Supervisor or Isatis is an advantage
• Strong understanding of resource estimation principles and geological interpretation
• High attention to detail with strong data validation and QA/QC mindset
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly
• Professional fluency in English is required; Chinese language skills will be an advantage
