Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the business. In 2024, our planned production is 6,200 kg of Gold and 5,305 tonnes of Copper.

In support of this growth, we are looking for Senior Engineer - Mine Production to join our team to deliver on our growth plans, and be a part of this exciting future.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and implement daily and weekly mine plans and schedules.
• Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness and diligently comply with policies, rules, and procedures.
• Coordination and control of short term mine planning activities.
• Consistently drive the optimisation of blending mine-to-mill crusher feed to maximise milling recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate with Production to ensure mine plans are realistic, achievable, and accurate.
• Develop and maintain functional relationship with Mine Operations, Functional Movement Screen (FMS) key personals, mobile maintenance, geology, and processing sections.
• Develop and implement operational mine designs.
• Prepare weekly and end of month reports.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining or Civil Engineering.
• Open Pit Mine Operations - Digger and Trucks, Drill & Blast operations.
• 5+ years’ experience in open cut mining or a technical background in associated heavy civil works.
