Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. Reporting to the Superintendent – Project Controls, the Planner supports the delivery of civil, mechanical, and electrical projects by developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating planning activities, and monitoring progress. The role supports resource and procurement planning, identifies schedule risks, and provides accurate planning information to support project delivery from scope definition through to commissioning and handover.handover.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress and analyse schedule performance.
• Coordinate planning inputs across engineering, construction, operations and supply chain teams.
• Prepare weekly reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Support resource planning, procurement tracking and material forecasting.
• Identify schedule risks and recommend recovery plans.
• Support project delivery from planning through commissioning and handover.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Technical Trade Qualification or equivalent.
• Project Planning and/or Project Management certification (desirable).
• Primavera P6 training or certification (desirable).
• Good planning, scheduling and coordination skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Project; Primavera P6 (desirable).
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Good English communication skills.
• Valid Class B Lao driver’s license.
