Officer – Accounts Payable

Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. Reporting to the Supervisor – Accounts Payable, the Officer – Accounts Payable is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, while monitoring expenditures and maintaining reliable financial records.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Process invoices, employee expenses, advances, and supplier payments accurately and on time.
• Monitor expenditures and maintain adequate cash flow in coordination with relevant teams.
• Verify invoice accuracy and match payments against supplier invoices.
• Arrange and reconcile payments, including month-end and year-end reporting.
• Maintain accurate supplier and vendor information in the system.
• Respond promptly to supplier and internal customer enquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Provide information and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
• Support continuous improvement in accounts payable processes and data management.
• Comply with LXML policies, Code of Conduct, and safety requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• At least two years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Demonstrated experience using ERP systems, preferably Pronto.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, monitor deadlines, and complete tasks on time.
• Good communication skills in Lao and English are preferred.
