Coordinator – Tailings / WTSF

Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. Reporting to the Project Superintendent – Tailings Facilities, the Coordinator – Tailings/WTSF is responsible for coordinating and supervising tailings / WTSF construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The role also supports contractor management, project reporting, and collaboration with stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Execute work scopes to defined quality standards.
• Manage contractors and project activities.
• Manage project schedule, cost and variation scope change approvals.
• Provide technical support and guide the contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Verify that required work standards are being adhered to through formal audits
• Develop and deploy health, safety and environment improvement plans .
• Issue project reports to stakeholders.
• Conduct QAQC, TOPO in laboratory and survey work.
• Promote strong safety culture and participate in Safety, Health, Environment and Community (SHEC) activities.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Civil, Road and Bridge Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in tailings dam construction and civil earthworks.
• Demonstrated experience in contractor coordination and project delivery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and Pronto.
• Strong teamwork, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Lao.
• Hold a valid class B driver’s license.
