Trainer - Laboratory

Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation,
located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos

Reporting to the Senior Chemist, the Trainer - Laboratory delivers laboratory inductions, operational and
technical training, refreshers and competency assessments for Sepon’s laboratory, contractors and visitors, in
accordance with the training needs analysis, training matrix and competency progression framework.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Conduct and maintain laboratory training needs analysis, matrix, program and evaluation.
• Provide hands-on training in laboratory techniques include sample preparation, pre-testing, testing,
quality control and reporting.
• Demonstrate the use of minerals testing laboratory tools, equipment, instruments and laboratory
facility.
• Deliver training on lab quality control procedures and SHE protocols.
• Assess employee performance across theoretical and practical competencies.
• Track and record training attendance, assessments, and evaluations.
• Provide support and mentorship to help employees improve their skills, knowledge, and attitude.
• Maintain technical refreshments training.
• Ensure assessments are conducted fairly, consistently, and in accordance with approved competency
standards and verification processes.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
• Degree/Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical, or Metallurgy Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ industrial/mining chemistry and mineral testing experience.
• Proficient in learning management system, laboratory information management system, Microsoft
office, and digital assessment tools.
• Good English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Valid Class B driver’s license.
