Reporting to the Supervisor - Survey (Surface & Underground), the Surveyor's primary responsibility is to provide accurate and timely survey data to support mining operations. This involves executing field survey tasks as directed by the Leading Hand Surveyor, upholding all safety protocols, and actively contributing to a productive and efficient survey team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Execute field survey tasks as assigned by the Leading Hand Surveyor.
• Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Operate survey equipment safely and effectively.
• Conduct routine maintenance and promptly report any equipment malfunctions, deficiencies, or missing items to the Leading Hand Surveyor.
• Collect high-quality data according to established procedures and standards.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• A tertiary degree or higher diploma in Surveying or Geomatics is mandatory.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in surface mine surveying.
• Possess basic computer skills and familiarity with specialized mining CAD software (including Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac, and AutoCAD) to effectively analyse, process, and report survey data.
• Skilled in operating Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and total station equipment for precise data collection and processing.
• A valid Lao driver’s license is mandatory for this role.
