Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. Reporting to the Superintendent - Security, the Supervisor - Security prevents loss by ensuring that effective strategies are developed in the areas of preparedness, training, and maintenance across all areas of responsibility, through the effective operation of security department. The incumbent will provide guidance, assistance and training the LXML security personal and Lao contract security team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborate with the security coordinators to oversee roving patrols and contractors, ensuring all tasks are executed correctly.
• Work closely with security superintendents to engage with respective departments, local and provincial authorities.
• Continually monitor and assess the site-wide security operations for improvements of loss prevention.
• Monitor shift activities with regards to manpower, documentations, and reports.
• Comply with any security related instructions.
• Assist in reviewing and delivering comprehensive security training programs.
• Promote a security, safety and environmentally friendly working culture.
• Act in a responsible, courteous manner during all interactions with all sectors.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Training certificate or relevant qualifications in Policing or Security.
• Three years of experience in mining industry security operations.
• Possess proven supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of incident investigation procedures.
• Good at Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• English language both written and spoken highly desirable.
• Hold a valid Class B driver’s license.
