Reporting to the Supervisor – Fixed Plant Planning (Long Term), the Senior Planner - Major Maintenance is responsible for preparing estimates, work scopes, and schedules for all the Major Maintenance and non-routine work programs to reduce the risk of catastrophic failures within the Fixed Plant asses. Ensuring adequate resources are identified, determining specialized tools and required equipment to execute the planned work safely, effectively, and cost-efficiently according to LXML work standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure adherence to Work Management and continuously improve planning & scheduling processes.
• Review and approve work requirements in adequate time, according to priority.
• Create Work Orders from approved work request and prepares estimates and work scopes for execute.
• Create and develop Gantt schedules for shutdowns/major maintenance in MS Project, which includes all Operational Ramp down and, cleaning and isolations sequence required for maintenance work, all work requiring shutdown and handover milestones to allow Operational Ramp Up.
• Tracking and reporting progress of schedules for major maintenance work programs.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree or diploma in relevant discipline.
• Driving license (Class B).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Maintenance Planner role or similar.
• Minimum 3 year using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project at intermediate level.
• Demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance or industrial environment.
