Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the business. In 2025, our planned production is 5,703 kg of Gold and 10,010 tonnes of copper.

We are seeking a Senior Officer – Procurement to support our Underground operations, reporting to the Superintendent – Procurement. This role is responsible for managing purchasing, expediting, and logistics activities to ensure underground operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key duties include monitoring consumable stock levels, coordinating with underground teams and inventory staff, raising purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and proactively managing procurement risks.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor stock levels of underground consumables and report regularly.
• Attend daily morning meetings with the Underground teams.
• Coordinate priorities with key end users from Underground and inventory teams.
• Handle requests for quotations and raise purchase orders for stock and non-stock items on time and within budget.
• Proactively manage underground purchasing risks.
• Expedite deliveries and coordinate with suppliers to meet operational timelines.
• Monitor purchase order progress with suppliers and provide regular updates.
• Maintain and promote LXML’s reputation with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and risk mitigation.
• Provide general support when needed.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain Management.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics roles within the Asia Pacific or China region.
• Demonstrated understanding of material specifications and operational requirements essential for underground mining activities, including equipment, consumables, and safety-related supplies.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve supply chain risks and delivery delays.
• Competence in the use of Pronto, SAP or similar ERP system.
• Skilled in organizing, planning, and managing time effectively.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Lao, and Thai.
