Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the business. In 2024, our planned production is 6,200 kg of gold dore and 5,305 tonnes of copper cathode.

In support of this growth, we are looking for Senior Accounting - Operations to join our team to deliver on our growth plans, and be a part of this exciting future.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare month-end journals and general ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure costs are allocated correctly and are in the correct period.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Prepare budget, forecast and capital expenditure plans.
• Prepare financial reports and analyse variances to budget or forecast.
• Help others in the company understand and improve financial performance.

 Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in accounting.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Ability to build financial models and charts in Microsoft Excel.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Laos (Chinese an advantage).
• Ability to work well in a team and perform at a high level without close supervision.
