Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the business. In 2024, our planned production is 6,200 kg of Gold and 5,305 tonnes of Copper.

In support of this growth, we are looking for Planner - Mobile Maintenance to join our team to deliver on our growth plans, and be a part of this exciting future.

The Planner - Mobile Maintenance is responsible for developing and communicating the work scopes and maintenance plans to the maintenance department. You will interact with the maintenance execution supervisors and superintendents to ensure targeted work output and performance is achieved, assets are maintained safely and effectively. You will also provide technical support to the Maintenance Department where required, enabling the operation to drive the delivery of key performance targets, ensuring optimal availability of all equipment and facilities whilst budgeted cost objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and implement schedules for maintenance activities for required periods: daily, weekly or monthly
• Prepare detailed Gantt schedules to track and report overhauls, or projects
• Issue work orders in accordance with production plans and resource availability
• Prepare and update work scopes with detailed activities, identifying all requirements to complete the work
• Prepare and update standard job plans to minimize time on scoping and preparing works estimates
• Provide analysis and interpretation of equipment performance trends and variances
• Monitor stock inventory levels and non-stock orders to ensure proper site levels
• Monitor estimated time of arrival for parts required on specific date to execute the works
• Job scope upcoming work to build work orders
• Provide weekly or bi-weekly reports for designated area

 Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or trade qualification with further studies
• Driving license (B)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance planning function in mining focused on either mobile fleet or fixed plant
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervising or leading teams

• High level Pronto or other CMMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project or similar
