Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the business. In 2025, our planned production is 5,703 kg of Gold and 10,010 tonnes of copper.

Reporting to the Senior Advisor – Environmental Monitoring, the Officer - Environmental Monitoring is responsible for supporting the implementation of environmental monitoring activities at the Sepon Project, which supports both gold and copper mining operations. The role involves assisting Monitoring Advisors and other Environmental Officers in fulfilling the project's environmental monitoring requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct daily environmental monitoring of air, water, dust, aqualitc biota and
• Calibrate and operate monitoring equipment.
• Participate in planned training activities.
• Report environmental observations and safety incidents promptly.
• Participate in training and maintain high safety standards in the field.
• Lead field teams and prepare regular monitoring reports.
• Execute monitoring tasks and lead field activities based on approved work plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
• At least one year of experience with environmental monitoring programs.
• Skilled in surface and groundwater collection methods.
• Proficient in written and spoken Lao.
• Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
• A valid driver’s Licence at least (B).
