Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the business. In 2025, our planned production is 5,703 kg of Gold and 10,010 tonnes of copper.

Reporting to the Supervisor – Emergency Response, the Officer - Emergency Response is responsible for supporting emergency preparedness and response activities across the Sepon site, including inspections, conducting training, and implementation of procedures to ensure compliance with LXML’s safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct emergency response and rescue activities across the Sepon site.
• Deliver fire awareness and extinguisher training for employees and contractors.
• Assist in developing and delivering training programs for the Sepon Emergency Response Team.
• Inspect and maintain firefighting, rescue, and emergency equipment to ensure site readiness.
• Support site evacuations and respond to emergencies as required.
• Support site risk assessment and promote safety awareness across the site.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the department and processes to ensure effective response to emergencies

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant qualification or training in Emergency Response or a related field.
• Previous experience in emergency response or firefighting, preferably in mining or industrial sites.
• Able to operate and maintain firefighting and rescue equipment.
• Experience in emergency drills and equipment inspections.
• Good understanding of site safety and emergency procedures.
• Good communication and writing skills in both English and Lao
• A valid Lao Driver’s Licence (Class B or above)
