Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the business. In 2024, our planned production is 6,200 kg of Gold and 5,305 tonnes of Copper.

In support of this growth, we are looking for Mine Engineer - Mine Projects to join our team to deliver on our growth plans, and be a part of this exciting future.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and implement daily and weekly dump plans and schedules.
• Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness and diligently comply with policies, rules, and procedures.
• Coordination and control of short-term pit development activities.
• Collaborate and communicate with Production to ensure pit development and dump plans are realistic, achievable, and accurate.
• Develop and maintain functional relationship with Mine Operations, Functional Movement Screen (FMS) key personals, mobile maintenance, geology, and processing sections.
• Develop and implement operational pit access designs.
• Prepare weekly and end of month reports.

 Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in open cut mining or a technical background in associated heavy civil works.
• Safety Procedures in open pit mining operations.
• Open Pit Mine Operations - Digger and Trucks, Drill & Blast operations.
• Technical and analytical skills in relation to mining activities and mining equipment.
• Tertiary qualifications in Mining or Civil Engineering.
