Master Data Specialist

Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the business. In 2025, our planned production is 5,703 kg of Gold and 10,010 tonnes of copper.

Reporting to the Supervisor - Master Data and Coaching, the Master Data Specialist is responsible for the accuracy of master data within the CMMS (Pronto). This role supports process plant maintenance through the management of equipment, records, material catalogs and PM plans to optimize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Act as a gatekeeper for the CMMS, ensuring all new assets, functional locations and spare parts meet standardized naming conventions and Pronto system requirements.
• Systematically audit master data to identify and ractify duplicates, governance issues, non-compliance, and incomplete technical specifications in both maintenance master data or inventory cataloguing issues.
• Establish and maintain the integrity of the data attributes to ensure reliability within the CMMS.
• Manage the upload of all new master data, ensuring adherence to the site standard, including but not limited to, PM plans, plant items, standard job plans, etc.
• Ensure PM plans trigger conditions are accurately configured to reflect the maintenance strategy frequency and hierarchical relationships, including time-based, meter-based or condition-based plans.
• Create material ANCIs and detailed bill of materials (BOM) for all equipment, enuring that all parts are assigned correct inventory codes.
• Collaborate closely with Inventory and Purchasing teams for the timely delivery of spares and materials to achieve work start dates.
• Manage all material resources, spare parts and rental machinery across the process plant.
• Monitor and control the movement of existing stock and outstanding parts.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma of Computing Science & Technology Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Previous experience in master data processing, preferably Pronto CMMS, or another system.
• Proficient in data management, with professional-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite or Power BI.
• Strong teamwork, communication and decision-making skills.
• Hold a valid Lao driver’s license (Class B).
• Confident in English Intermediate level (both written and verbal).
