Reporting to Superintendent - Engineering, the Engineer – Reliability role will support the operations in to perform at budgeted availabilities, performance, and costs through the delivery of reliability engineering and asset management activities. Ensuring that optimisation and preventative scheduling occurs for the fixed plant maintenance success,

Key responsibilities include:

• Equipment strategy development
• Life cycle cost analysis and equipment replacement strategies
• Equipment downtime and performance analysis through strategic review
• Reliability improvement through formal investigations and improvement plans
• Equipment risk management and contingency planning
• Verification of equipment strategies and quality deliverables being met
• Equipment condition monitoring analysis and secondary action improvement
• Regular reporting to the meet the department schedule

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering
• 5 years maintenance experience in fixed plant process operations
• Demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance inclusive of critical plant such as Autoclaves, Oxygen Plants, Grinding Mills, slurry pumps, HV electrical equipment, instrumentation and control systems
• Demonstrated experience in developing the skills and competencies of people in developing countries
• Knowledge of processing plant operations, asset management, condition monitoring techniques
• A good command in English both written and verbal
• Has proficiency in the use of CMMS Systems (e.g. Pronto), MS Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Power BI), Equipment Health systems
