Coordinator - Shutdown

Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation,
located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos

Reporting to the Superintendent – Shutdown, the Coordinator - Shutdown is responsible for the safe,
efficient and high-quality execution of shutdown maintenance activities during planned major maintenance
events across the Sepon processing plant and supporting infrastructure. The role supports the Manager -
Shutdown by coordinating shutdown work crews and contractors, ensuring tasks are executed in accordance
with approved shutdown schedules, work packs, safety standards and technical specifications. The Supervisor - Shutdown ensures that shutdown activities are completed on time, within scope and to the required quality
standards to maintain plant reliability and availability.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Demonstrate strong safety leadership and ensure all work complies with site SSHE standards.
• Conduct pre-start meetings and task-based risk assessments.
• Identify and manage critical risks including lifting operations, confined space entry, working at heights
and isolations.
• Ensure all personnel comply with permit to work and isolation procedures.
• Supervise shutdown work teams during execution of planned major maintenance events.
• Ensure shutdown work scopes are executed in accordance with approved work packs, drawings,
procedures and OEM specifications.
• Deliver shutdown work safely, efficiently and within the approved schedule.
• Coordinate daily shutdown activities with planners, operations and contractors.
• Supervise contractors and ensure they comply with site safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Monitor contractor productivity and adherence to shutdown schedules.
• Ensure contractor work is completed according to scope and specifications.

Qualifications ,Experiences, and Skills:
• Certified in Mechanical, Electrical or releveant Trade Qualification.
• Proven experience supervising maintenance and shutdown operations while effectively managing
contractors and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Good leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate in Lao and English preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple maintenance activities simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively under time pressure during shutdown events.
