Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. In 2025, our planned production is 5,703 kg of Gold and 10,010 tonnes of copper.

To support our operation, we are seeking a qualified candidate in the position of Coordinator – High Voltage Electrical Maintenance.
Reporting directly to the Superintendent – Mobile Maintenance, this role will be responsible for all underground electrical system installations, removals and maintenance that is required to safely and efficiently support the underground operations. Working closely with the, underground operations, site electrical engineering, and mobile maintenance planning departments, the underground electrical coordinator is responsible for ensuring all underground electrical works are carried out to the highest standards, that meet or exceed all statutory requirements while supporting the underground operation to ensure development and production targets are achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Execute planned maintenance activities to defined quality standards (procedures, standards, specifications)
- Respond to unplanned maintenance activities and develop strategies to reduce re-occurrence
- Develop the skills and competencies of the National electrical team
- Develop work instructions for maintenance tasks
- Provide technical support to the electrical teams on required quality of work standards and trouble shooting guidance
- Develop, update, and maintain underground reticulation plans with mining.
- Manage costs within budget and identifying methods of cost optimization
- Develop and deploy health, safety and environment improvement plans
- Work closely with Mining Operations to understand priorities and to adapt plans accordingly
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- High Voltage Electricians trade qualification or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in underground operations, equipment, and high voltage electrical maintenance
- Demonstrated experience in leading underground work teams
- Demonstrated experience in developing the skills and competencies of people in developing countries
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in underground mining or similar industry
- Minimum 5 years in senior supervisory position
