Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the business. In 2025, our planned production is 5,703 kg of Gold and 10,010 tonnes of copper.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join us during the growth phase of our business and champion diversity through all stages of our recruitment.

Reporting to Senior Advisor - Safety Improvement, the Advisor - Safety Improvement is responsible for providing the site with a range of safety delivery-related services. You will be a champion for safety improvement across the site and work collaboratively with key stakeholders. Be the key on the ground support for departments in the safety improvement area.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in the delivery of safety strategies.
• Participate in incident investigations, risk assessments and safety observations.
• Design and deliver training and awareness packages.
• Managing Risk management process.
• Conduct audits against safety procedures and processes and help manage site compliance.
• Provide quality advice to the organisation with regards to incident investigation and risk avoidance strategies.

 Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to obtain a Lao Driver’s License (BC).
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Occupational Health and Safety Cert IV with the ability to present training packages (Highly regarded).
• Applicant who has worked or has safety related experience in mining or heavy industry is encouraged to apply.
