Posted in Comunity, On story On 12 March 2021, our Community Relations team and members of the Ban Nahoy and Ban Vangthakhouay, Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province held a ‘joint clean-up’ event in celebration of this year’s International Women’s Day and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Day (22 March). . Over 60 people pooled in their time, energy, and efforts in repairing and cleaning-up the weir crossing Sekok river. The weir facilitates connectivity between the Ban Nahoy and Vanthakhouay villages and also serves as a dam and fish conversation zone. . This joint activity promotes healthy relationship between LXML, local authorities and community, as well as a sense of ownership from the community in maintaining the facility and its sustainability.
