Vientiane, 25 September 2025 – Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) has contributed US$10,000 to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to support the successful organization of the 10^th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Minerals (AMMin) and the 25^th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Minerals (ASOMM), along with associated events, to be held in Vientiane from 29 September to 3 October 2025.

The donation was formally handed over by Mr. Saman Aneka, Managing Director of LXML, together with Mr. Michael Stott, Vice General Manager – Operations, and Mrs. Daomany Chanphakeo, Deputy Director of LXML. The contribution was received by Mr. Sounthone Laolo, Deputy Director General of the Department of Geology and Mines, Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

This year’s ASEAN Ministerial and Senior Officials Meetings on Minerals mark an important milestone as Lao PDR assumes the role of host nation, showcasing the country’s capacity to lead regional dialogue on sustainable mineral development. The meetings will also feature the ASEAN Minerals Investment Forum (AMVest 2025), under the theme “Invest ASEAN: Minerals for the Future”, highlighting investment opportunities across the minerals value chain, with a focus on sustainable practices, critical minerals, and regional cooperation.

Speaking at the handover, Mr. Saman Aneka reaffirmed LXML’s dedication to supporting Lao PDR’s development goals: “As one of the country’s leading mining companies, LXML is committed not only to operational excellence, but also to contributing to the socio-economic development of the Lao PDR. Supporting this significant ASEAN event reflects our long standing partnership with the Government of Lao PDR and our shared commitment to sustainable growth and regional cooperation in the minerals sector.”

For more than two decades, LXML has operated Sepon mine in Savannakhet Province, setting high standards in responsible mining, environmental management, and community development. Through investments in infrastructure, education, health, and livelihood programs, LXML has contributed significantly to local and national socio-economic development.

The company remains committed to advancing sustainable mining practices in line with the ASEAN Principles for Sustainable Minerals Development (APSMD), and to strengthening Lao PDR’s role in shaping the future of the minerals sector regionally.

With ASEAN elevating minerals as a Priority Economic Deliverable (PED) for 2025, LXML’s support underscores the importance of public–private partnership in ensuring that mineral resources are developed responsibly, transparently, and for the benefit of all citizens.

ນະຄອນຫຼວງວຽງຈັນ, ວັນທີ 25 ກັນຍາ 2025 – ບໍລິສັດ ລ້ານຊ້າງ ມີເນໂຣນສ໌ ຈຳກັດ (LXML) ໄດ້ປະກອບສ່ວນເງິນຈໍານວນ 10,000 ໂດລາສະຫະລັດ ໃຫ້ແກ່ກະຊວງອຸດສາຫະກຳ ແລະ ການຄ້າ ເພື່ອສະໜັບສະໜູນການຈັດກອງປະຊຸມລັດຖະມົນຕີອາຊຽນດ້ານແຮ່ທາດ ຄັ້ງທີ 10 (AMMin), ກອງປະຊຸມເຈົ້າໜ້າທີ່ອາວຸໂສອາຊຽນດ້ານແຮ່ທາດ ຄັ້ງທີ 25 (ASOMM) ພ້ອມດ້ວຍກອງປະຊຸມທີ່ກ່ຽວຂ້ອງ, ຊຶ່ງຈະຈັດຂຶ້ນທີ່ນະຄອນຫຼວງວຽງຈັນ ແຕ່ວັນທີ 29 ກັນຍາ ຫາ ວັນທີ 3 ຕຸລາ 2025.

ທ່ານ ສະໝານ ອະເນກາ ໄດ້ກ່າວໂດຍຢໍ້າຄືນເຖິງຄວາມມຸ່ງໝັ້ນຂອງບໍລິສັດ ໃນການສະໜັບສະໜູນເປົ້າໝາຍການພັດທະນາຂອງ ສປປ ລາວ ວ່າ: “ໃນຖານະທີ່ເປັນໜຶ່ງໃນບໍລິສັດທີ່ດໍາເນີນວຽກງານດ້ານບໍ່ແຮ່ຊັ້ນນຳຂອງປະເທດ, LXML ບໍ່ພຽງແຕ່ມີຄວາມມຸ່ງໝັ້ນຕໍ່ຄວາມເປັນເລີດໃນການດຳເນີນງານເທົ່ານັ້ນ, ແຕ່ຍັງຈະສືບຕໍ່ປະກອບສ່ວນເຂົ້າໃນການພັດທະນາເສດຖະກິດ-ສັງຄົມ ຂອງ ສປປ ລາວ. ການສະໜັບສະໜູນກິດຈະກຳທີ່ສຳຄັນຂອງອາຊຽນນີ້ ໄດ້ສະທ້ອນໃຫ້ເຫັນເຖິງການຮ່ວມມືອັນຍາວນານຂອງພວກເຮົາທີ່​ມີຕໍ່​ພາກລັດຖະບານ ສປປ ລາວ ແລະ ຄຳໝັ້ນສັນຍາຮ່ວມກັນຕໍ່ການເຕີບໃຫຍ່ຂະຫຍາຍຕົວແບບຍືນຍົງ ແລະ ການຮ່ວມມືໃນພາກພື້ນດ້ານຂະແໜງແຮ່ທາດ.”
