Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) proudly sponsored the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Then Luang Road and Kaysone Phomvihane Road Phase 3 in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province. The ceremony, held on June 26, 2025, marked the official commencement of construction and was attended by nine Buddhist monks, along with Mr. Valiya Sichanthongthip, Governor of Vilabouly District; Mr. Saman Aneka, Managing Director of LXML; Mr. Hongphachan Sadettan, CEO of Khounxay Construction Development Sole Co., Ltd.; as well as heads of various district departments, guests, and members of the local community.

LXML’s support for this project underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening local infrastructure and contributing to sustainable community development. The construction of these roads aims to improve daily transportation for residents, particularly schoolchildren and community members, by providing safer, more convenient, and more aesthetically pleasing public roadways.

The project includes comprehensive infrastructure upgrades such as the construction of new roads with reinforced concrete drainage systems, sidewalks on both sides, and solar-powered street lighting to enhance safety for both daytime and nighttime travel.

Then Luang Road will span 505 meters in length and 9 meters in width, with a construction cost of USD 202,676. Kaysone Phomvihane Road Phase 3 will extend 570 meters in length and 10 meters in width, with a construction cost of USD 281,704. Both projects are fully funded by LXML under the Sepon Community Trust Fund (TF) and are being implemented by Khounxay Construction Development Sole Co., Ltd.

Through this initiative, LXML continues to demonstrate its dedication to community development in Vilabouly District.
